Internationalization beginnings of Campofrío. First production plant in Moscow.

ISO 9002 Accreditation in Campofrío production plants. Second plant opens in Moscow.
1997
Hormel Foods acquire 21% of Campofrío.

1998/99
Campofrío buys Montagne Noire (France), Fricarnes (Portugal) and Tabco(Romania).
2000
Concentration year: Omsa purchase and Navidul merge.
2002
Primayor S.L. and Primayor Andalucía created.
2004
Smithfield Foods, Inc. acquires 22,4% of Campofrío Alimentación and 100% of Morliny.
2007
Campofrío Alimentación S.A. took back the management of Carnes Selectas.
2008
Campofrío Food Group rises from the merger of Campofrío and Groupe Smithfield.
